"Through this project, I felt more grounded in statistics as actual data gathering and analysis of results was done. This module project has aided me in building up my repertoire of skills without a single doubt; and this would be definitely important in my final year project in next semester. I feel bless to have acquired the knowledge regarding research methodology at the same time, as it gave me a better understanding of this module being the cornerstone of research methodology. On the other hand, it has also taught me values with regards to teamwork especially in agreeing on the topic to research on and convincing one another on the rationale. I strongly believe that it was our teamwork that brought us through the tedious process of collecting results, explaining research findings, and finally the finished product on the blog itself.To add on, the idea of publishing our projects on the blog adds a touch of fun and creativity to this module as compared to Power Point Presentation. All in all, this project has taught me several skills which cannot benefit me any further."

"If it was not for this module, I will not be exposed to Statistics. I just thought that they are all numbers and the end result is all we get to see. But behind it, much patience and understanding is necessary. The program, SPSS has made things easier, where it does the analysis of the data, and we are to infer from it. Keying in data was rather confusing when I first got to know it, but after that, I got more familiarised with it, and understood its purpose.
I did not know collecting data can be that engaging and enjoyable. From the topic we did our research on, the males truly have bigger measurements than the females. The numbers are proof. Measurement has to be precise and minimal errors were to be made, if not it will affect the end result.
Statistics and its processes takes days to even months for bigger-spanned research. Now just collecting data close to thirty, it was already tiring for me. What more the nation-wide kind, or a specific target population. I have realised how tough it is, to produce the simple graphs, percentages that we see in newspapers, or television advertisements.
Statistics is indeed a useful subject matter to be looked into and appreciated."

And true enough statistics was one of the modules I’m going to study this semester. I was never good at maths back in my school days however I’m fast at picking up IT skills. Thus my interest for this module was mixed at the point of accepting. I was excited when I knew we are using software that is new to me. I love trying new software. SPSS yes that’s the software. Bought my textbook early and start trying out. It gets tougher as the chapter advance. The individual test was tedious even though I got an average marks it motivates me even more to put up this amazing blog. Now I can see the importance of this module. It can help me in analysing important data in the future. Finally I hope you venture around this blog if you have any queries feel free to contact us.

"Before starting our project, actually I feel a lot of stress, because we never have a project like this before and don’t know how to start it. However once started, not exactly. Besides stress, we also had a lot of fun and learn a lot from this module. I learnt how to collect data exactly, and how to analyses them. After the project, even the result is not exactly that people’s circumference of the ankle is equal to the circumference of elbow, but at least we found these two variables have a positive and strong relationship which is a great comfort for us. And through doing this project, I also find that statistic is a very useful and magic instruments, with it I think even we are not good at math, may can be a predictor.
